Homemade Sun Jars!
It's like capturing a little bit of sunshine in a jar.

Depending on where you grew up, you may have captured little fireflies in a jar on hot summer nights and used it as a nitelite. This is sorta similar, except using the power of the sun. And, bonus, you can use it year round.
What you'll need:
1. Ikea glass jar or vintage french canning jar
2. Solar garden light
3. rechargeable battery (AA size) - may come with garden light
4. Screwdriver
5. Utility knife
6. Frosting spray
Step 1: Spray the glass frosting spray on the jar and let dry.
Step 2: Rip open the solar garden light. It should be fairly easy to get it all out. See the solar panel in there attached to the battery? That's the component you'll need.
Step 3: Use the utility knife to cut around the components you'll need and get rid of the excess plastic that won't fit in your jar.
Step 4: When the jar is dry, place the components of the solar garden light into the jar. You may want to use blue tack or something else to help it fit snuggly at the top.
Step 5: Close the lid of the jar with tender care and you're done.
